Admitted Attorney & Aspiring Conveyancer
Ms. Mahomed was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and has since honed her expertise in various legal areas. Her practice encompasses Magistrate’s Court Litigation, Debt Collections, Family Law, Labour Law, and Evictions. Currently, she is expanding her skillset by pursuing a role in the firm’s conveyancing department, complementing her ongoing studies in Sectional Title Schemes.
From Paralegal to Legal Powerhouse
Ms. Mahomed’s journey began in 2017 when she joined the firm as a Professional Assistant. While excelling in that role, she completed her LLB, demonstrating exceptional dedication and perseverance. In 2024, she was further admitted as a Notary Public.
Beyond legal practice, Ms. Mahomed is a passionate advocate for the business community. She served a two-year term on the Northern Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including a year as Vice President. She is also a member of the South African Women Lawyers Association in the Northern Cape and actively participates in the global networking organization, BNI.
Personal Side
Outside the courtroom, Ms. Mahomed enjoys expressing her creativity through cooking, baking, and exploring the world through travel. This well-rounded perspective allows her to connect with clients on a deeper level.
